Project HackWorld (Game)
I am currently working on a Massively Multiplayer Online Real-Time Strategy game. It doesn't have an official name yet, and until then, "Project Hackworld" (in my opinion) will do just fine. I am excited to finish the BETA version of the game (which will be open to all of my subscribers to enjoy). Keep Checking back on the website for more info and release dates!
Game Mechanic:
The whole game is based around money. Each player is given a certain amount of money when they register, which can be used to upgrade their "Computer" (account). To earn more, the player must "Hack" another online player's account, and steal a portion of their money. Perks can also be bought to help with hacking, such as the "Tracer" perk that allows a user to trace where the hack came from, if the hacker takes too long to "Disconnect" from the player.
Etc...
1. The game IS NOT harmful to your computer. The game doesn't require you to really hack the other players, but rather use kind of a simulated hack. The most harmful thing the game could possibly do to your computer, is take up space on your hard drive.
2. After clicking the "Hack" button in the game's menu, players will be directed to one of two pages.
a. If they signed up as a "Beginner," an intuitive button interface will come up where they can select the hack they wish to unleash. The player will then be directed to a computer terminal, where it will automatically type in the required fake "Computer Code" to hack.
b. If they signed up as an "Expert," they will automatically be directed to the computer terminal where they must type in the other user's WP Address ("Web Protocoll Address" - Fake IP address), and type simple code into the terminal's interface. Code will be short codes provided on the "Help" page, accessible from the main menu.
